There is no truer love than the One who wrote our destiny on His heart. He pursued us and called us out of our misery of feeling worthless, unloved, abandoned, and without significance. He set His fiery eyes upon us and wooed us into a life with Him—a life of profound intimacy with His Divine nature, of endless fulfillment and purpose. Once I received His kiss and tased the wine on His lips, I was never the same.

You have made my heart beat faster with a single glance of your eyes, with a single strand of your necklace. How beautiful is your love, my bride! How much better is your love than wine. Your lips, my bride, drip with honey; honey and milk are under your tongue, and the fragrance of your dress is like the fragrance of cypress trees.
