"Come Away With Me, My Beloved"
"Come Away With Me, My Beloved"
24x36in - Mixed Media Oil on Canvas
Chapter 7, Verses 10-12
I am my beloved's,
and his desire is for me.
Come, my beloved, let us go out into the country,
let us spend the night in the villages.
Let us rise early and go to the vineyards;
Let us see whether the vine has budded
and its blossoms have opened,
and whether the pomegranates have bloomed.
There I will give you my love.
Now my trust is unshakeable, and I am ready to fully surrender to my Lover. My life is His. May He have His way with it. I hold nothing back. I will be as big as he wants me to be and go as far as he desires. My desires are now his desires. Life just became bigger, more grand. I found greatness, and although my mind cannot even conceive of all that He has for me, I am fully His and completely devoted.
Who is it that grows like dawn? As beautiful as the full moon, as pure as the sun, as awesome as an army with banners. I went to the orchard of nut trees to see the blossoms of the valley, to see where the vine had budded or the pomegranates had bloomed. Before I was aware, my soul set me over the chariots of my noble people.
